HARMONIOUS RADIANCE

Mixed Media, Experimentation

Duration / 2 Weeks
Materials / Paper Cutter, Heat Treating, Lighting fixtures.

Harmonious Radiance was born out of my love for performing arts and passion for Kathak. It all started when I stumbled upon my little cousin’s toy ball, which sparked an idea to use it as a model to create shadows. I realized that using a strong and stiff material would help refine the image, so I decided to experiment with the idea. After researching and studying the material, I used a sharp paper cutter to cut the toy ball and heated it slightly to create a perfect figure of dancers. This project allowed me to explore the potential of everyday materials and how they can be used to create magnificent shadow art and textures using light.
