As a Kathak dancer, I began my journey in the traditional Indian dance form at a young age, and it was love at first sight. This bronze sculpture, standing at 15 inches tall, captures a moment of my memory in a typical pose.

Kathak is one of the classical dances of India, a beautiful art form that unfortunately is becoming less common in modern times. To create this sculpture, I utilized a stick skeleton as a base, adding clay and wire to bring it to life. Once the sculpting was complete, I finished it with a bronze paint, giving it a timeless look.
