Khamosh is a campaign aimed at raising awareness among government authorities and citizens of a city about the issue of noise pollution, which persists in most cities. The campaign takes its name from the Hindi word “Khamosh,” meaning “to keep quiet,” inspired by my home country and city New Delhi, India, being the most noise-polluted city in the world.

The Khamosh logo features an electric shocker, which has been used in some headings and type manipulations. Helvetica Neue has been used for the body text, advertisements, and Khamosh’s App, among other applications. The color guide is inspired by the different colors of noise that exist in science for various purposes, including Pure White, Bittersweet Pink, Pewter Blue, Old Brown, and Rich Blue-Black.

This campaign includes an engagement piece with supporting UI/UX features, such as the creation of your own calm, which plays with different frequencies and types of noises, along with the creation of a real-time navigation mapping system.

Khamosh brings attention to the issue of noise pollution and inspires action towards a quieter and healthier environment for all.
