Introspection is a collection of digital photographs that are created using projections on the human body. The use of projectors to illuminate the subject’s face creates a sense of depth and emotionality that draws the viewer in. Initially, the viewer is captivated by the virtual fantasy landscapes that envelop the subject with a plethora of colors in whimsical projections. However, their attention is slowly drawn towards the severed wall as they begin to observe the subject’s gestures and eyes, which radiate a sense of deep introspection and allow the viewer to sense the reality through their gaze. The work showcases the juxtaposition of outward beauty with the deep thoughts and realities of a human being. By capturing this moment of contemplation, I have created a work of art that invites the viewer to reflect on their own inner lives and the mysteries of the human psyche.
