Sex Pistols – Album Covers by Jamie Reid Landmark Poster was completed for the History of Graphic Design. The landmark poster celebrates a significant event in the history of graphic design.For this poster I primarily focused on Reid’s usage of anti-established content, inflammatory language, erratic historic references, anti-capitalist imagery, his analog processes of décollage and the DIY qualities of his work. I have added attributes of handwritten elements on the vinyl disk of his various covers, in order to reinforce Reid’s rebellious and loud style of the punk genre.
